The Best YouTube Shorts Collection by Akp51v

Image
Every content creator, blogger, marketing professional, and personal branding enthusiast recognizes the power of YouTube. Therefore, it is not surprising that yours truly (me, Akp51v / AK Patil) has his fair share of exposure to YouTubing. My first-hand experience with video recording, editing, audio cleaning, and auto-captioning tools is a separate discussion. However, for this blog post, let me present some of my YouTube shorts (YT shorts) videos. YT Shorts 1: Content Structure: Headings in Blogs, Timestamps in Vlogs Helping your audience find the most relevant parts of your blog posts means using H2, H3, and H4 headings. At least, that is what matters in the case of on-page, user-facing content structuring. Read more: Creative Ideas Can Come from Anywhere at Any Time Besides, a table of contents is a cherry on top. You can quickly automate that with dedicated WordPress plugins. Now, apply that logic to your videos: vlogs must have timestamps or chapters to make it easier for search ...

Google Domains and the Squarespace Deal - Highlights

Image
I had several sites whose domain name server (DNS) records and domain registration billing had a lot to do with Google Domains. It was a beta project when I first encountered this user-friendly, straightforward, and fast DNS ecosystem that would get immediately verified by the Google Search Console (GSC). While I have enjoyed the freedom to create a hundred domains per domain name registration, Squarespace is about to take over Google Domains in a deal that the world's top search and ad network provider identifies as helpful in sharpening their business focus. In an article on Mashable about what Sqaurespace's Google Domains deal means for the site owners , I came across a site documenting the history of all the projects that Google has put aside or shut down. At the time of writing this, i.e., 29 August 2023, 01:45 PM, IST, the entry on this website discussing this domain registrar switch ranked first, as depicted in the following screenshot. Properties of a Focused Mind

Image
Life will always give you many reasons to remain distracted, and you will over-indulge in those reasons to prevent boredom. However, the longer you let your attention be fragmented between a million activities, the greater the risk of losing sight of what matters the most. Therefore, exploring the advantages and importance of increasing your ability to focus is essential. What is a Focused Mind? Video by Kelly on Pexels. Several religions have conceptualized stillness of mind using everyday objects. Besides, philosophers and psychologists love getting an in-depth explanation for human emotions, motivations, and impulses. All these stakeholders educate the world on the characteristics of a focused mind. Read:  Focus on Breathing - Simple Meditation A focused mind will be committed to the task at hand without letting the regrets of the past or fears of the future interfere with your effectiveness at work. Steve Jobs’ Speech at Stanford University - Most Inspiring Quotes

Image
Yes. I will always remember Steve Jobs' commencement speech at Stanford in 2005. Let me paraphrase a part of his speech in the following few lines. Death is the best reminder of the value of life. Stand in front of the mirror, and ask yourself, "If I were to die today, what would I want to do/change as my last act?" And if the answer is no in a row, I know that I need to change something . A broken hourglass illustrates how fragile our life is. By Twitter/ akp51v . All the best, everyone, with Financial Planning. Will our generation be able to retire? Thus, I would rather avoid the words like 'Retirement Planning.' Stay safe, and be grateful that you can breathe, eat, sleep and smile. Thanks to Stanford University, the video featuring Jobs' speech on YouTube is available at https://youtu.be/UF8uR6Z6KLc . [Akp51v have last rewatched and verified this video on 25 January 2023] The opening of this written piece is my comment on a LinkedIn...

Quartz Watches are Great, right? | Post 37

Image
In college viva voce and for interviews, you need some formal ornaments. And a good wristwatch does the trick. So, let's explore the story of the Quartz Revolution. Before the year 1970, your grandparents used purely mechanical watches. And only the most experienced craftsman could create them. Also, those tools were the ultimate forms of precision and elegance. Even today, mechanical watches hold great value for traditional and technical reasons. First Quartz Watch - Seiko Quartz Astron 35SQ On the 25th day of December 1969, this watch went mainstream. According to the Seiko Museum Ginza , Quartz Astron 35SQ had a price similar to that of a car. As you can guess, its accuracy was better. Also, this watch was a result of many decades of research. Sidenotes: Warren Marrison invented the quartz "clock" in 1927 in America. Issac Koga built the first Japanese quartz clock in 1937. Seiko's quartz clock for the broadcasting stations was as big as a locker duri...

Crying is Okay, You Know | Post 36

Image
You will feel pain because you are alive. And guess what, it is completely cool to let your emotions dance on your face. Anyway, if you try to lie about your feelings, that suffering increases. So, do not worry about what others might think of you. Let your tears be free. Crying is not a weakness Photo by Francisco Gonzalez on Unsplash Yes, you need courage and honesty to cry freely. Because of the social norms, you might have heard that your tears represent vulnerability. "Oh, what a great misdeed! You shall not allow the world to see your less likeable side." Something that has the potential to make you feel bad about your sensitivity. Though I agree with the obvious dangers of being oversensitive, I must say that your tears are good for your health. All you need to do is to perform a quick search for the benefits of crying. And you would be shocked to learn the chemistry, biology and well-being aspects of your tears. Again, cry without a doubt and let those ...

Follow Wisely since every Social Platform has Both Kinds of People | post 26

Image
As might have been the case with many, I was confused about the nature of the comments sections on the socially engaging platforms, such as the one coloured sky-blue, or the one coloured the usual blue. Each morning, our screens might show the pop-ups about who said what to whom and when... without having any logical solution for answering the 'Why?' ... You can guess exactly how the day starts, with all such noise. Not some rocket science, is it? Photo by  Daniel Gonzalez  on  Unsplash  [compressed] When you start on any social platform, you should take some time to learn its mechanics. The buttons and the related features are definitely important. But there are other norms, such as not using emojis  on any subreddits on Reddit, to the size of pins we put on our boards, on the Pinterest. I had no ideas, that Pinterest could parse the hashtags  the same way like other platforms. Then, there is Fl...

SEO or Freestyle Writing - a difficult choice | post 21

Optimisation is essentially the adjusting of the different properties, parameters or attributes of anything and everything  for a specific purpose  if we were to understand the Concept. In mathematics, we used to optimise such word problems, to satisfy some pre-determined Restriction, Limits or Required Expectations. We used to call them as 'Constraints'. Our attempt was focused on arriving at a solution, which used to be some numerical values for the variable to meet these Constraints.

It Is Alright to Progress Step by Step, Day by Day | Akp51v SMD

It is easy to be focused on an activity or goal with a single-minded approach. While there is an assured sense of quality that correlates with how much time, energy, effort and editing is put in the project, the risk of suffering from a burnout is not small either. Commitment, Dedication and Discipline are beautiful, wonderful and admirable; but neither you nor I can keep at it without any rest, relaxation and recharging. Refreshment definitely matters. Our holidays, vacation and weekends empower as well as heal our brain. Those tiny power naps might take some minutes, but the fresh mind we both can achieve will be much more productive. Once in a while, take some juice, have some biscuits, drink some tea or coffee, or just look outside the window... breathe deeply. Such actions have helped me a gazillions of times... Days can be tiring, meetings can be draining, social gatherings are my nightmares! Maybe you have been in these situations, and maybe it was a simple action which re-ener...
